Refund Policy

Thank you for considering Donte Palmer for your upcoming event. We understand that schedules and circumstances can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms regarding deposits, payments, cancellations, and rescheduling for speaking engagements and professional appearances booked through our website.

1. Booking Deposits

A 50% deposit is required to secure a confirmed speaking engagement unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Deposits are nonrefundable once the engagement has been confirmed, except where otherwise stated in this policy, agreed upon in writing, or required by applicable law.

A booking is considered confirmed only after the required deposit or payment has been received and written confirmation has been provided.

2. Final Payments

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 calendar days before the scheduled event.

For engagements booked within 14 days of the event, full payment may be required at the time of confirmation.

3. Event Cancellations

We understand that unexpected circumstances may require an event to be canceled.

The following cancellation terms apply unless otherwise agreed in writing:

30 days or more before the event: Payments exceeding the nonrefundable deposit are eligible for a refund.

15–29 days before the event: The deposit remains nonrefundable. Any additional refund will be determined according to the written booking agreement.

14 days or fewer before the event: Payments are generally nonrefundable.

Exceptions may be made where required by applicable law or agreed upon in writing.

4. Rescheduling an Event

We are happy to consider requests to reschedule an engagement when circumstances change.

All rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability.

Previously paid deposits may be applied toward a mutually agreed replacement date at Donte Palmer's discretion.

Additional expenses resulting from rescheduling may apply if agreed upon in writing.

5. Cancellation by Donte Palmer

In the event Donte Palmer is unable to fulfill a confirmed speaking engagement, reasonable efforts will be made to arrange a mutually acceptable replacement date.

If rescheduling is not possible or acceptable to both parties, all speaking fees and deposits paid for the canceled engagement will be refunded.

6. Travel and Accommodation Expenses

Travel, lodging, transportation, and other event-related expenses are separate from speaking fees unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Refunds for prepaid travel expenses will depend on the applicable booking agreement, the circumstances of cancellation, and any refunds available from travel providers.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

We recognize that emergencies, severe weather, natural disasters, and other unexpected circumstances may affect scheduled engagements.

Requests involving exceptional circumstances will be reviewed individually, subject to applicable law and the terms of the booking agreement.
